Kate most recently starred in and co-wrote the award-winning short Oh Baby!, winner of the Audience Award for Best Short Film at DWFLA 2021 and playing in film festivals across the country. She was nominated for Best Performance at iNDIE Film Festival and Best Lead Actress at Blackbird Film Festival and won Best Actress at the JRS Film Festival. She’s next scheduled to workshop a new musical by Jim Leonard (Major Crimes, Ray Donovan). Previously, she appeared in Amos by Eva Anderson and Michael Cassady in Los Angeles and the world premier of Part of the Plan at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville. She received a Stage Raw Award for Leading Female Performance and Ovation and LA Drama Critics Circle award nominations for her role as Holly in Bed by Sheila Callaghan at the Echo Theater Company in Los Angeles. She has also appeared on Showtime's Shameless, TNT's Major Crimes, ABC’s Happy Endings and in Whatever, the web series, as well as in the films Hail, Caesar!, Plea, ImprintsBump, and Her Dying Wish. On stage, she also played Frenchy in the Broadway National Tour of Grease, Ali in Mamma Mia! at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, and Lindsay Skinner in Bad Apples by Jim Leonard at ACT-Seattle and in Los Angeles, for which she received Ovation, LA Weekly Theater, and Seattle Theater Writers Gypsy Rose Lee awards nominations. Other theatre projects have included the world premiere of Nobody Loves You at The Old Globe in San Diego, the world premiere of The Condition from Naked Angel's Tuesdays @ 9 series, The Butcherhouse Chronicles at New York's Summer Play Festival, Stupid Kids at The Red Room, and Perfect Harmony at Theatre Row on 42nd Street. She received a BA in Theatre from Fordham University and trained at Upright Citizens Brigade.
